resist to change to simplified character

One upon a time , a man wrote an article about the Chinese character of "horse".
He liked the complex form because the character has 4 legs depicting a horse galloping
across the written page.
I wonder what if it is a horse lying down at rest under the banyan tree or simply
a DEAD horse. I rather take on a descriptive adjective as backing.
